Privacy notice
Last updated 25 September 2026
This notice explains what we collect when you request a free AR product on ar2cart.com, what we do with it, and your rights. ar2cart is run by Mizanur Rahman in the UK, who is the controller of this data. Questions or requests: hello@ar2cart.com.
What we collect
- The product or store link you paste, and the product name and photo we read from that public page.
- Your name and work email.
- Your answers to our two questions: your role and your store’s rough monthly orders.
- Basic technical data needed to run the site securely, such as your IP address and browser details, which our hosting provider uses for bot protection and security.
Why we use it
- To build the free AR version of your product and send it to you.
- To follow up with you about it, and about AR for your store.
- To keep the form free of spam and abuse.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us for a free AR product, and we need these details to deliver it and follow up. We don’t sell your data or use it for anything unrelated, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts the site, runs bot protection and provides cookieless visit analytics.
- Supabase stores your request in a database hosted in London.
- Telegram carries an internal notification to us when a request comes in.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and analytics
We set one strictly necessary cookie, ar2cart_claim, which carries your answers between the steps of the form and expires after 24 hours. Our visit analytics don’t use cookies and only count page views in aggregate.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete it, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep what we need to serve you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to us using it, by emailing hello@ar2cart.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
